VIDEO MESSAGE

Our Saviour, Jesus Christ left the majesty and splendor of heaven and came to earth on a mission of hope - to rescue mankind from sin. Although He knew that He would suffer cruelty, humiliation and death, He came anyway and personified the love, concern and the care that we should feel toward our fellowmen.

Pastor Derek Bignall

It is therefore unfortunate that so many show little compassion for the plight of the poor and needy around us. How painful it must be to our loving Lord to see the scant regard that many have for the lives of fellow human beings! Having identified himself with the poor and needy, Jesus enjoins those who are called by His name to be particularly mindful of the needs of this segment of our society.

Throughout the year but especially at this time when Christians are celebrating the birth of Jesus, let us give significance to His birth and follow His example in relating to those around us. Let us seek to identify the less fortunate and, in the spirit of peace and goodwill toward men, let us share the love of Christ. I urge you today, go out of your way to find someone in need and lend a helping hand, remembering that He said, “ inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren,  ye have done it unto Me”

May the glory of the One who came in fulfillment of prophecy and who will come again in fulfillment of His promise, fill our hearts and minds. I trust that this holiday season will be a safe, rich and fulfilling experience for all as we  share God’s love with those around us.
